Hi, I've sent 2 emails using the Contact form and no reply, and my renewal is due so thought I would try here instead.
I've been a RocketTheme member for years and now have 30 site licenses available.
I've started to move some sites to Wordpress and was wondering if it was possible to transfer existing site licenses to a Wordpress membership? I'm happy to buy a Wordpress subscription but am asking specifically about transferring licenses from my current Joomla subscription. At this point I think I only have about 10 sites using a Joomla site license so it would be handy to have some options. One client in particular wants exactly the same website with the same theme but in Wordpress so I'm hoping I can put my excess licenses to use.
If you purchase a "developer" subscription for Wordpress you would get unlimited site licenses anyway - making the whole thing moot anyway.
Regards, Mark.

So, no? The link doesn't actually answer my question. All I'm wanting to do is renew my current Joomla subscription, purchase a new Wordpress subscription, and transfer 10 site licenses from the 10yo Joomla subscription to the new Wordpress subscription to enable me to transfer some sites over. Unfortunately I don't build anywhere near enough sites in a year to be able to afford a developer license. I just thought a site license would be a site license regardless of platform but if it's no then it's no and I'll have to find another option.
Every time you purchase a subscription you are granted a number of site licenses (see link). Those site licenses last in perpetuity and are not unique to a specific product. So, there's nothing to transfer, you have the site licenses already. Of course what you will need to do is to purchase a subscription that grants you access to the themes you wish to use (for whichever CMS) and also to be able to receive support in this forum.
So, as long as the number of sites you are using RT templates on does not exceed the total number of licenses that you have been granted with the subscriptions you have purchased then you're fine.
Regards, Mark.
