menu won't stay open on tablets

- The parent item needs to be of the type text-seperator because the tablet can decide on its own if a click(-touch) should open the the top link or the dropdown. Remember there is no :hover on touch devices.

If you mean you want to change the breakpoint at which the menu change from "desktop" style to "mobile" style then, no, you can't change that in a Gantry 4 template as it is hardcoded in both CSS and JS. You can change this in Gantry 5 based templates though.
