    • Gantry does not set the outline, it is using standard Joomla layout without any code inside Gantry to drive the assignment.

      Please test if you can reproduce the issue in Protostar by assigning the layout from Joomla and looking if it works. I mean, assign a single page to Protostar and check if it works.

      Also, do you know where is that line? In which plugin and in which event? Calling $app->getTemplate() too early (or before routing) is the main reason why assignments stop working.
