What do you mean check their permission? I created the audio/video folders, yes. However I can't upload my video into the video folder, but I thought that doesn't matter because I can just insert the tags.
I used the tags to insert a youtube video and it worked, (and the warning was posted when I put the youtube video up). So I don't know how to get the video from my computer into joomla.

You are using are using software from Joomlaworks, Joomlaworks is the place to get support for it.
