I'm primarily a functional type developer, as in I build something to work and not necessarily look good, so I use joomla for the frontend. My question is I currently use staticXT as the component to bring in the php scripts I write. Is there a easier, better way? I don't wrap them because I want the css styling to be consistent between my php scripts and the other joomla content.
I've looked at the forms components on extensions.joomla.org, but they all assume you're not a php scripter. I guess I'm just looking for validation that staticXT is the way to go. Is anyone else using something else to pull in their custom php scripts.
Thanks for the response. I will try that and see how it works. If I do that, then the other people contributing to the site don't need access to the shell account or ftp.
