Logo size problem

  • Logo size problem

    • Hi,

I have a problem with the assigned dimensions of the logo in the Panacea template. The assigned logo is 37px x 251px but my client has a logo that is approx. 250px 250px. When I insert the logo the hole site shifts down and I have a huge space between the menu items and the other things - and this is annoying. I think the problem is, that the rockettheme templates use only one source file for all the images.

How should I change this in the code...?

      Please help me...

    • What exactly do you want to change? Move the menu down, reduce the logo size, something else?

Also, without a link to your site we can't suggest you anything useful to change

    • It is on my localhost so I can not give you the link to my page. I will change the size of the logo but I want to do it without changing the hole template. Because FireBug shows that in the template file the logo dimension are set fixed. And this is irritaiting. I will try to find the solution and will notice you tomorrow with all the details.

Thanks anyway for the reply - I hope I will get help tomorrow.

    • You have an option in the template configuration which automatically resizes the position in which logo is placed. That is what you see in the code when you check it with firebug.

I am not sure if you answered my questions and I don't understand the answers or you didn't answer them. It is really not clear what exactly bothers you and what are you trying to achieve

    • Hi!

I was wondering if it is possible to show different logo images on different pages? For example:

      1. on the home page the logo is 300 x 300
      2. on the other pages the logo is 100 x 100

      ?

      Thanks

    • Yes, of course. Just duplicate the template in template manager, edit new copy of the template, make desired changes to the logo and assign that copy of the template to the pages on which you need to have smaller logo size

    • Do you have a step by step guide? Because I can not duplicate the theme in the template manager - is it good enough that I copy the template direct in the folder of my site?

    • Go to the template manager, select the template you want to duplicate and press Duplicate button in the template's manager toolbar

    • I do not have a duplicate button. I am using Joomla 1.5
