alright, joomla 2.5 has a lot of differences compared to 1.7 in regards to article options and content overrides. we'll have to rework our templates to get the navigation to show correctly. i will commit this to our developers.

Okay, thank you very much for looking into this issue and notifying the RT developers.
After the devs fix the issue, should I check the RT site for updates to the Reflex template or will it be a Gantry update that will automatically display in the J2.5 control panel when I log into the site backend? Just wondering since I only occassionally check the RT site for extension updates.
I will enable my site GZip compression and Gantry cache since it was turned off while you were testing. Let me know if I should not enable those because you might still be testing.

I checked the RSS template update link and the updated Reflex template download is only for new Joomla installs: "10 Joomla 2.5.1 RocketLaunchers now available"
The update is "Reflex RocketLauncher J25" on this page www.rockettheme.com/joomla-downloads/club/2166-reflex
Do you have any indication when the developers will release the J2.5 fixes for Reflex for existing installations instead of just new installs?

I just installed the latest J25 Standalone template update for my Reflex template site but this did not fix the missing page navigation (Next, Previous links) at the bottom of each article page.

the fix will be available in the next update, until then you can download the attachment, unzip the file and replace the one located in the reflex template folder under:
../html/com_content/article/default.php

Thank you very much for that attached ZIP file. It fixed the problem! I'll also install the next Reflex template update when I see it's posted online.
I have one question: I noticed in my CPanel file manager that my Reflex template has two folders with the same files in them. One folder is named rt_reflex and the other is rt_reflex_j16. So I installed the default.php file in your ZIP into both directories you mentioned in both folders. Is the rt_reflex_j16 an old folder for the old Joomla sites before the 2.x sites? If so, should I just delete the rt_reflex_j16 folders?
Update: I just noticed in the Template Manager I have both of these listed as "Master" with the rt_reflex_j16 selected as the "default". So is the issue I have an old Reflex template installed in my extensions?

glad the new file worked for you. about the 2 reflex templates...
we use the _j15 suffix on our j1.5 templates, so we started with _j16 when joomla 1.6 was released. since then joomla 1.6 has been upgraded to 1.7 and 2.5 and we still had the _j16 suffix added there. this of course caused confusion, so we have now removed the suffix and there is no suffix on the joomla 2.5 templates anymore.
so rt_reflex is newer than rt_reflex_j16 but both are compatible with joomla 2.5.
if you don't have any customization on the _j16 files, free to remove them. if you can't then try the following:

please take a backup first though just to be sure.

Kat,
I tried this fix again using this plugin but it's not working on my RT Reflex site. My site is J 2.5.4 and Reflex is 1.6.4.
But when I try to delete the old Reflex entry in the Template Manager I get the following error message:
Cannot delete a Gantry Template Master Style
Do you have any other suggestions to remove that old entry?
