Allright Im doing my best to improve my Google Ranking.
Mine ( www.360Uploads.com ) is currently (03/10) on frontpage and (02/10) on every other Page.
Also if I search for my site with the Keywords "360 Uploads" and "360uploads" im nr.1. But I want to improve other Keywords that relate to something like Xbox 360 Movies etc.
I'd like to see your guys ranking and technique on how you improve it.

when you do get people linking to you make sure, if you can, that the alt and title text in the link has your keywords in it and change it every now and then
i've got a site at www.worldcup2010southafrica.com with a page rank of 5 but i hope it will go to 6 next time round
www.joomla-themes.co.uk with a page rank of 5 but i only started the site a couple of months ago so i also expect that to go up.
www.astonvilla.biz is page ranked 4 but only started in july and
www.thecatsofmooncottage.co.uk is a pagerank of 4 but this will improve once i get the new site out and get more links in ..
i think its easy to get to 5 but getting over 5 is the barrier ... how about you just ask for a few link exchanges here - www.c3p0.se - sweden

nice, Google PageRank works with points right... and link exchanging gives you less points than linking to only one site.
But then again you dont lose any points when exchanging... you do get a few.
Anyone?

- Is the alt & title text applicable in text only links? or is that an img only thing? (I know you can add alt tags to text links... but is it worth it?

i add alt and title tags to most things so each page gets a little extra weight
i dont think you score negatively for it ... but i'm not entirely sure how good it is either - www.c3p0.se - sweden

yes they do. even better if you add to the standard joomla offering of 45/1 to section-name/category/item-title
i tell everyone this but not many people listen, if you use a seperator use the - instead of the _ but they will help you because in the title, category and section you're going to have relevent key words which is only a good thing - www.c3p0.se - sweden

Sweet... I've used OpenSEF once, butI got many errors because of vBridge Integration.
Now I cant find any good Components for SEF anymore... I want OpenSEF back because I dont use vBridge anymore but I cant find it..
