    • Hello I expose my problem ... I installed a template locally RocketTheme on Joomla 3.0 and I wanted to correct an error 500 in the backend probably caused by a component, module or plugin ... I accidentally disabled a component that has been "crashing" all my backend and getting the following error: the module needs the RokSprocket RokSprocket Component enabled!! I understand the error but I do not understand why my backend and of completely paralyzed by this action which is ridiculous because I can not activate this component damn! I am looking for how to perform this maneuver otherwise ... perhaps via the database?

I understand the error generated by the module activation in the frontend but not in the backend ???

My last backup was before this monumental error;-(

    • You can reactive it via the database. Login via phpmyadmin or whatever you use, find the #__extensions table and look for the "RokSprocket component com_roksprocket" entry. Edit it and turn the 0 entry for enabled to 1 and save. That should fix your problem.

I went into the /etc directory and changed the ownership of php.ini
      # cd /etc
      # chown apache:root php.ini
When I installed Joomla on my server, it used apache as the default user. So when I changed the ownership to look like above, I got rid of the

Please read your message - there is nothing there about the template. It refers to Joomla core.

      I did a quick search on Google - forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=625&t=733782

If this resolves your problem then please edit your first post in this thread by adding SOLVED at the start of the title and then select the green tick icon. This lets the moderators know that it can be moved to the solved section.

      Thanks for your cooperation :)

    • I'm having this exact problem on Voxel, whenever I try to edit the style. One problem might be that the URL is wonky. updates.rockettheme.com/joomla/updates.xml -->/update.xml<-- that bit right there.

I don't understand why it needs to keep me out of the style manager completely though, it was working just fine yesterday, and I've done nothing whatsoever to the site since.. just got the error logging in this morning. If this site were live, this would be a massive problem. As it is, it's pretty harrowing, my client would really like to see the change they requested.

      Little help?
