Hi there,
Animareal - what version of Metropolis 1.0 or 1.1?
Jeffery High - what version of Joomla and Voxel?

This is getting silly - I can't change the width of a column because I can't access Gantry settings because someone messed up a URL. I can see the file the site is trying to read, but the site can't and I can't seem to do anything about that. HELP!

Hi Jeffery,
First of all I can't understand why anyone would use a short term release on a live site. Even Joomla suggest it is for development only.
Secondly, why assume that someone made a mistake? It may be that the latest release of J3 has changes that we may not have been aware of.
I will do a test install and see if I get the same problem.
Thanks for your patience

I didn't say it was on a live site, I'm working with it in development, but can't get past this layout issue until I can get into the gantry settings.
And I assume someone made a mistake because the URL is wrong. There's a space, a slash, and an extra filename following it. I'm also assuming it happened at RocketTheme because nothing happened to the site on my end between last night (and all the previous week) when I could get in just fine, and this morning (and all day today) when I couldn't change the template settings. Also, since the file is update.xml I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest it's probably something to do with an update, which I don't have any control over.
I'm not trying to be snarky, I just want to be able to use the template that I paid for. I've been a customer of RocketTheme for many years and I love the work, but when something breaks during development, and it's not something I did, it's a little frustrating.

Hi Jeffery,
Ok - I just loaded Voxel 1.3 and carried out the 3 notified updates - Gantry 4.1.6, RokSprocket 1.8.3, and RokBooster 1.1.3
All updates completed as expected and I am still able to edit the template.
Do you have any SEF extensions installed? Are you using .htaccess?

Please ensure you are using the latest Gantry, some fixes were put in that may rectify this situation. If a particular extension locks you out of the administrator completely, then you can always log into the database and turn it off manually.
If you can access the administrator, you can always disable the varying extensions in the Extensions Manger > Manage, as a temporary workaround.
You may wish to download fresh copies of the various extensions and install them again, as something might have be corrupt somewhere along the lines.

Thanks hugely for this, that patch fixed everything. Much, much appreciated!
It wasn't any extension in particular - I had only installed 3.0 compatible Rok extensions; we want to test for stability before we add other third parties - and none of them were giving us any problems. And the site worked one day and not the next, no tinkering in-between, which is why we were stymied. I can turn extensions on and off in the database no problem, but we needed to get INSIDE Gantry, and couldn't. This file took care of it.
