    • No WYSIWG for me. Doing my work in dreamweaver and then pasting the html in joomla has made things so much easier and quicker.

Of course, that depends on the person doing the editing. As web designers, we have no problem with html code. We know how to FTP images quickly, to the places we want. We know how to add different styles to lists and divs and blockquotes.

But, how many of us deal with the common user? That doesn't know FTP from HTML from picking toenails. They might not even know how to cut/paste with keys. And they are likely using Joomla because they didn't want to spend the money for Dreamweaver and have to learn it.

I liike JCE, mainly for it's image handling and it's ease for linking to content on the site. And it gives me nice access to the template's css.

    • Sorry, writing it while Brian add a post....

Yes Dreamwever, for us professionals (Ahh! Whi not an extensions to take dreamwever code...)

But a lot of people behind Joomla! content's creation, often daily or more once a day need something of quick, precise and powerfull editor...
Another think to notify to core developers is the need to change on fly the editor... (no wysiwyg... to Jce.. for example...)
