    • I don't think we can resolve it - it's down to microsoft. I think you hack could give rise to other problems but it's your call...

    • Get afternoon,
I was testing it from IE 7 at first, directly on the browser without refering from a MS Office file and I get the unsupoted version splash page.

However, I updated the browser to version 11 and still got the splash page. I deactivated the IE7 Redirect toggle and opened the website on IE11 with a poor look&feel.

It looks like the template is not supporting any IE browser.

Is it possible for me to edit the splash page to do a simple HTML with basic information on our site? if so, where is the ie7splash.html stored?

look forward to hearing your views.

      Regards,
      Jorge

My view remains the same. Any link from micosoft word opens in IE7 mode if you turn off the unsupported browser feature then you are just trying to view the page as IE7 would - we don't support IE7 so that's why you get a messed up loayout (hence the reason for the unsupported browser message).

    • Thanks Mark,
In my case, I am accessing the URL from scratch NOT via any microsoft product. Hence, dont understand why the website behaves like IE7 when I have IE11 installed.
Can you answer my other question thoough:
Is it possible for me to edit the splash page to do a simple HTML with basic information on our site? if so, where is the ie7splash.html stored?

    • You have your browser in "compatibility mode" - switch out of this mode.

The unsupported page can be found in the templates folder - called unsupported.php - if you change this though remember that any template update would overwrite that file again - and for that reason I can't recommend the approach you are taking.

      Regards, Mark.
