    • My update on this - I followed DanG's instructions - success!!! (of course). Here is what I did.

      1. Backed up item.php
      2. Changed two lines of php as per instructions
      3. Went to my article(s) – Images & Links and set the article image and the alt text
      4. Went to the RokSprocket module and set each image to Article Default
      The Alt text showed up as expected. Yea...

      One question – if a new RokSprocket update is done, will it knock out the changes?
      I hope development will include those changes in a future release.

      Not RokSprocket as that updates the com_roksprocket folder but if you update the template and it carries this file "\roksprocket\layouts\lists\themes\default\item.php" then your version will get overwritten.

    • I have the same issue with Roksproket on Wordpress. Have updated to the latest versions of RokCommon and RokSproket.
      Is there still a bug for this in WP?
      Running WP 4.2.2
      RokSproket Version 2.1.6
      RokCommon Version 3.2.0

      When we fix something for Joomla those fixes are at the same time carried over to WordPress. As of now the ticket for the RokSprocket "alt attribute" is still open.

      I'll keep repeating this - the devs don't look here - they look in the REQUESTS forum. If you feel strongly about this issue then PLEASE post there ;)
