as mentioned NUMEROUS times, rokupdater was introduced to allow the update of CLUB extensions, which at the moment we do not have, but we did have them when rokupdater was first released and we will have club extensions again at one point in the future.

If I have a free rt template with only free extensions, I should not have to enter anything (RT Login) or whatever to be signaled of those free extensions in joomla Admin and being able to upgrade them.

We have had a developers license for many years and use RT for many sites.
My biggest concern is that we CONTINUOUSLY HAVE TO ENTER OUR RT USER/PASS. Almost everytime we login, we see the annoying message on the left "Not authenticeted with Rockettheme".
We do not like our clients to see this message, so we enter it again, it gets approved, then next time we login we need to enter it again!
Please at least fix this bug!

For most of these issues it was a software change that was resolved by our server's guru coding skills. So "All templates that have this feature" are still currently experiencing this error?

I do not understand your answer. How do we fix this issue? Our software is up to date yet the message still keeps coming.

It has nothing to do with Rockettheme products, it was software on our end that had the issue. After the fix most people had their issues resolved by clearing caches and cookies.

this is not a template feature!
as mentioned before (just read my previous replies in this thread) it's the extension called rokupdater and you can simply uninstall it. - Last Edit: 10 years 5 months ago by Kat05.

Interesting discussion, espcially since it doesn't work. Strange things happen when I try to authenticate.
I get a message that session has expired and to reload the page, which then logs me out. And, with the inability to log in again. I'm using Joomla 2.5.24...

It depends from your perspective. I've run RokUpdater v1.0.8 without issue on my Hostgator testbeds also my WAMP and MAMP for WINDOWS Beta local servers without issue. For me I'd rather rely on URL's directly from Rockettheme than depend on Joomla to get it right
