- I try to log into front end with different username(admin as well) but no go. I can log in from backend but not from the frontend. It says '' You are not authorised to view this resource '' . Anyone knows why?

Posted 17 years 3 months ago- I just registered and activated my link, but it would not let me login...is this the same site your were having problems with "the Fix" for Joomla 13? Also, what did you install prior to having this error?

That is right. I was able to log in from frontend but from backend earlier.
I've tried so many ways to fix it.
I upload latest versions, upload fix files, updates some codes on php.ini for some reason I can log in from backend now but front end is not working.
Actually, when I log in to backend for the first time today, frontend did work too. I registered one test account then it stopped working.
Joomla version is now Joomla! 1.0.12 Stable [ Sunfire ] 25 December 2006 01:00 UTC

Wait - you used the 13 fix for Joomla 12? Ummmm, for starters - that could be a problem plus why did you adjust the php.ini? and the most important question of them all - do you have a back up of the original files so you can start all over and try it again? And last but not least - do you know ever file that you hacked? (Basically can you back track what you did and to what file?) - "You can learn a lot from a dummy. So, pay attention to yourself." K, before you panic, back up what you have and start from there...
Maybe, us patch upgrade 12-13 for joomla (after you back up) - "You can learn a lot from a dummy. So, pay attention to yourself." Quote by me.

I upload 13 patches as well and fixes. It didnt work. So I upload my old files.
On php.ini file I've chaged session.save_path= tmp line to
session.save_path= "N;/path" . I think it was on line 804.
The last time I logged in was on 21/12/2007. I was away for a while then I tried to log in last sunday and it didnt work. Since then , I tried several way and for some reason it worked today but now it's gone.
