- Try changing the name of the database via the CPanel, not phpMyAdmin

- I tried that first.. I changed the name.. and then changed it back.. Then went in and created a new subdomain instal but each time I try and visit the backend for the 2nd site I get the 404 error.

- I compared the wp.config file to another active site I have running and the file looks identical except for the DB key info and the added code for multisite..

- Did you guys stick in a easter egg to prevent people from being able to do multisite? I have a guy who does wordpress professionally looking at this and he has gotten it to work as subfolder instal but seems to be having trouble getting the subdomain to work.. I am not sure what he did but it seems more involved than what you guys did..
