No. Some people still prefer to use j3. It’s a two-click process to update the j3 rocketlauncher to j4.

1. uninstall any RT extensions (i.e those that begin with "rok").
2. On the "Joomla updater" page click on the "options" button and change the update channel to "Joomla next" - then the update to joomla 4 will show up.
3. read and head any warnings from the update checker and proceed with the update.
That's it.
