This is really weird... I've replaced the fa-brands-400.woff2 file on the two directories, tried with "Font Awesome 6 Free (Webfont/CSS)" and "Font Awesome 4 (legacy), but I can't get the new twitter (X) icon to work.
I ended up using the old bird =~(

You can check this thread for how to just load the latest version directly from a FA CDN... then you can just call the X icon directly by typing the fa codes in the picker or using a <i> tag
