Okay, now for something fun...
There is no such time as 12am or 12pm. See Wikipedia's Midnight . That's why many legal documents use 11:59pm or 12:01am or just Midnight.
And, midnight marks the beginning of the day, so, 8/1/2011 Midnight (MST) happened more than 11 hours ago. 8/1/2011 Noon (MST) is almost here.
