Okay, I actually figured everything out. YEAH!!!!
I told you I was a fast learner.
Please post this where others can benefit from it.
Here is what the issue was:
Regarding the "errors on page" notice that appears in the admin section of the MYNXX e-commerce template when trying to do "install/uninstall" of new templates, establishing default templates, etc. as well as other changes/mods in the admin panel.
NOTE: IN THE MYNXX INSTALLATION TRAINING VIDEO it states that when you come to the screen that asks for "FTP" information, the video tells you to "do nothing and just click next".
This is FALSE information!!!!!!!!
YOU MUST enter your FTP client information because the Rocket Theme MYNXX template must talk with the server in order to perform various functions within your database. This is CRUTIAL, so make sure you do NOT dismiss this screen when you are prompted during the installation process of your Rocket Themed templates. This applies to ALL templates not just the MYNXX ones.
Once I made sure I entered this information ( after uninstalling 5 times and re-installing the entire package which I found was not necessary...but hey, learning curve is always a good thing) everything worked just fine.
NOTE: There is nothing wrong with the software code itself, so no fixes needed there. This is a simple thing that just needs to be addressed when you do the installtion process. It is mis-information in the training video for the MYNXX template installation.
Hope this helps anyone who is having the same issues.
