Andy, true that the trend has gone more towards fixed width layouts over fluid width but there are occassions where a fluid width may be preferred over fixed. For instance, sites with side columns and lots of content, a great example is
http://www.amazon.com
. And yes, one could argue that Amazon will not win any award design's and they may change to a fixed width in the future but for now it's a good example.
But fluid width and color choosers are not the issue, please remember these were just examples. There are many more features that these templates offer besides the aforementioned examples. The suggestion was to have a way to compare or search for specific features.
So far Brian has had the best suggestion, although not ideal, it does make it a little easier. Thanks Brian.
