Hey, thanks for the hostgator recommendation. I've signed up with them and am quite pleased so far!

Uh, stupid problem I've run into though... I just did a RocketLauncher install and it's working fine, but I must have accidentally input the wrong username/password during the joomla setup because I can't login at the joomla administration login page.

Anyone know how I can reset the joomla admin username/password at this point?

      Thanks for any help.

If you've just started, it's almost easier to run the install again, but here a link to a thread that should help.

      Hi JEM,

      Thanks! I've reinstalled.

Incidentally, in the pre-install check I get these results in the recommended settings section...

Please log in or register to see it.

Should I change the display errors and register globals to be off? I checked out the cPanel databases section at hostgator and it wasn't apparent to me how to accomplish this. I'm no coder.

Not sure how to turn them off either.

      I wouldn't worry about them.

      Joomla will still work regardless.

If you want to find out how to turn them off, you should start a new thread, search or post on joomla.org, or contact your host.
