I upgraded to 1.6 on affinity and catalyst and the templates I messed up. However, I just installed a fresh copy of 1.6 directly on to the versatility 4 [no upgrade]and everything seems okay so could this be a problem with the actual upgrade, & not a fresh install?
Am sure there will be an update, Just like the last one
Apache Version 2.2.14 (Unix) | PHP Version 5.2.12 | MySQL Version 5.1.43-log | Architecture x86_64 | OS Linux | Joomla Version 1.5.20 | pHpBB v3.0.7-PL1 | Firefox v3.6.8 | Internet Explorer 8 |
It depends on what JomSocial decided to change in the way their template files work. If they didn't change more than that, then it only requires that one file.
That said, there can always be a hidden missed issue. Have you noticed anything?
James,
How about breaking out the 'fix' from the rest of the update - I have Jomsocial and Dominion, and it's crashing. What file do I fiddle with?
Error:

The "fix" was only style issues that were changed, I'm pretty sure.
It looks like the issue you're having on your site has to do with a forum from the error you posted. Can you post in the
dominion forum
for help on this topic.

Re: RT not compatible with JomSocial 1.6?

I sure can,
When I read that RT not compatible with JomSocial 1.6, I just naturally thought it was the place to discuss 'Rocket Themes' and their compatiblity with Jomsocial 1.6, or issues with JomSocial 1.6 at large.
I'm glad it's working for one Theme. By the way, are you running PHPBB3 as a forum, with RokBridge?

There are some customizations to the site and template, but I believe the functionality of RokBridge is the same here as it is in the download pack. The club memberships are custom to this site and aren't going to be released and the RokBox image pop ups are custom to the site as well.
