Hello Heather,
I lived in Brazil for a long time where I saw a lot of Dogo Argentino!!! It's a beautiful and powerful dog! I think it was created to hunt big animals
Actually I have my sweeeeet Cleo, an english bulldog. She was born at Rio de Janeiro and she is the daughter of national champion (2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003). Really, I LOVE her!

yes, they are meant to hunt wild boar and puma. Not so much at the beach. They mostly hunt petting and the odd seagull.
Your bulldog is quite gorgeous! I just love dogs. It is hard to lose a beloved pet. We have lost many, and the blow never softens. - --
