Simple site for a financial service

... using Joomla 3 and K2, RokGallery etc.
      based on Chapelco.

The link is a preview for the client and will be removed in some time.
So little things will probably change.

I used LESS for 95% of the css stuff.

    • I really like this site, and love some of the great stuff you did.

      1) I loved the slideshow and how you edited what the picture was viewed through etc. How would one go about finding out how to do something like this?

      2) I loved how you modified the logo position on the main menu. Again, where would one look to try and apply some neat additional elements like you did here?

      Thanks for inspiring!

    • for the slideshow I use the html element for the arrows to hold the mask.
The position of the logo is still 100% I may change that a bit in the future as the solution is a bit hackish ...

    • The modification based of the standard template is so good as Henning could be good.
(sure, Henning is a good one, no question)
The readability is not good. There is no typographic 'drama' and not enough typographic 'impression'. Typeface, line high, spacing is stressful for me.
I prefer other solutions. Sorry for that direct thing Henning.

(Guys, i need an solution for rokbox2 and mp4 video!)

    • Actually the type itself is still something to decide (I just left it as it was tbh).
Probably we switch to Roboto for this ... it will also solve spacing issue.
The line hight could be a bit smaller indeed.

Looking at your own pages I see you are suffering pacing issues yourself.
It's just that you can't control typography-matters on the net 100%.

    • Wat solls?!

The mainproblem is that you RT, design the sites in front of an 30" or 27" screen!
You lost the 'real life' proportions since one year? Or maybe longer?
      You die in beauty.

Responsive is fine but not more.
Try to scale the typography dynamic for screen sizes. (?!?)
Than you donĀ“t loose the look.

    • Well the responsive sites scale down to 960 for smaller screens?
