Nice and busy. Being a school site, you might want to correct the typos though... there's at least four I caught on the home page alone.
Can you help me out? I am just a math teacher that can't spell! I fixed a few, but there are probally a few more. During the school year, I usually hear about my mistakes in 5 mins., but the summer is a bit different.

Sorry :-[
But I prefer your last one with IGazette
The previous design was more colourful and attractive
;D
Rightfully so...I am still have some ideas that I am working on for the near future to kick it up a bit...
I did like the text size chooser in this new template...we have many students with vision impairments that must have larger text...so I am trying to make it a bit more friendly to them... noblecode wrote:
Nice work... I like this site as well as the previous one with internetGazzette.
Thanks, the IG site will not go to waste. We have a middle school next door to us (same colors and same mascott) that I am working a site for them. I am using the IG site for them.

I think you've got them all now. Nice work on the site, I actually think this works better for you than IG.

Hi Stewart
Great job on Benton HS site - it's a great use of the June '06 template. I've been following the discussions about menuing and, at first was a bit disappointed that Versatility didn't have menues that dropped down on hover ... HOWEVER, I've changed my mind and your site proves it (to me at least).
Your site, the template, and menu system works great as I can be "sloppy" with my mouse and still find the content. It reads top down and left right which seems natural. Most importantly, it's very efficient with space and load time - i.e. lots of content fast.
So, thanks for your work to show us quickly what can be done...
My problem is Andy keeps releasing a better template each month and I'm having to resist the urge to change templates .... know the feeling?

You said it perfectly. The drop-down of IG started to become a problem as we added links (you hover over a top level link and then have to scroll down to see second level links while loosing the top level link). I also became a little frustrated with some of the menus and assigning them to the right place.
Anyway, IG is great, but I never relly felt like it fit my needs. I want get to as much info as possible very quickly. I have also tired to make everything on this site within 2 links (as you mentioned, you can find the content). I still need to work on a few more things for the site (images, etc.) but I have the rest of the summer to do that.
Hopefully he (Andy) dosen't come out with one I like better (at least in the next 6 months - about the time I will be ready to change it again)!!!
