The fact that you removed the header is cool... but you don't even have a logo for your site, which is a bit weird...

As for the logo, I am open for any suggestions Miss Lu ;)

    • Hi all,

After having adjusted this template, a comment has been made by Miss Lu that it looks weird without a logo. That has got me thinking, but i can't seem to come up with a good solution (I don't want the header back) if some has any suggestions for a good logo position and even perhaps colour-usage etc. I would be glad to hear.

      All suggestions are welcome.

    • I think it would be verycool if you can put just a little logo in the first tab of the menu instead "Home".

      Thank you Franck,

I like that idea, I should perhaps even be able to do that with a menu image through default Joomla usage.

    • The template is messed up in FireFox 2.0, due to the number of items on the top menu.

Also, having ad links as part of your main menu - Win an iPod - is very bad practice.

    • Kick ass site. You can also put a logo first thing on the right column - just above "member login". Your favicon is pretty cool, maybe you can just scale that up and use it for a logo?

      Dan -

It does seem like having ad links as part of the main menu is bad practice, but I recall reading an SEO study somewhere that said it dramatically increases clicks. Piet deserves to make some money fo his efforts ;)

      Thanks Dan,

Going to try out some things with tha favicon here. Certainly a good idea! Thanks for your input and kind words.

As for the FireFox 2.0 errors that were mentioned. Not in this computer. FireFox 2.0.x does not give errors on a PowerBook Mac and does not give errors on a Windows PC either.

Part of my job is fixing browser incompatibilities. So before I put a worked on template online it is at least tested on 3 operating systems and a minimum of 3 internet browsers, including FireFox 2.0 on Mac and Windows, IE6 and IE7 (though i do not fix things for IE6 anymore...) and Mac Safari. All show the template properly on a minumum resolution of 1024x768. What resolution are you using??? What Operating System?

    • The MooMenu won't work correctly if you have so many items, causing it to run on to 2 lines.

Perhaps, reduce the number of items, or the font size for the menu text.

I'm using FireFox 2.0.0.11 on Windows.
