We just launched our new organizational website using Hive Mind, which is giving us the clean look we had been seeking... and we would love any suggestions/critiques/comments, etc..

- I am so impressed that Iv'e decided to dump my customised Replicant them in favour of Hivemind Joomla 1.5. The main reason being I want my customers to be able to choose from a clean light or dark template plus it's time to upgrade anyway. Seeing how yours looks has opened my eyes a little. ;D

- My only hangup about Hive Mind at the moment is that it seems to be a little sluggish or is that just Joomla 1.5?

I remember seeing a post with some controlled tests of loadtimes with all RT templates; if my memory serves me, hive was one of the leanest and meanest they produced, some suggesting it was bare bones to respond to claims by competitors that theirs were faster than RTs...
I'll see if I can find the post, but I suspect the template, in and of itself, is not slowing anything down. - Last Edit: 14 years 3 months ago by Terp.

Mmm I think I would probably agree. Maybe Joomla 1.5 is a little slower due to the more intricate coding or something. What I do know is that my old replicant site on Joomla 1.1.4 is running faster than my new Hivemind Joomla 1.5 site. And I havn't really added many graphics yet.
