    • you have to set the default colors in the template parameters under the template manager, not in your color chooser.
    • When solved, please modify your original post and add (SOLVED) into the subject AND change your icon to the green check.  This helps people know they can find a solution in your post if they have the same problem.

    • So is the color chooser merely a toy to test out different looks & then one must physically copy & paste the parameters into the template manager?

    • Thanks Maria ~ I believe I figured out what you were talking about @ http://www.odysseyspirits.com which should now appear to have a blue background with sweeping arcs instead of the default.

    • see www.cywire.com/ (view the different themes) for a perfect reason the color chooser exists on the home page. It's actually made so your users can change what they see. Brent has created this site so that his users (gamers/movie lovers/etc.) can choose the theme they love the most when they are browsing his site. When I had this template, I created themes for my church so that a person could display different ministry logos/colors. Of course, you can turn this feature off if you don't want them to change it.

Two things - I don't see the arcs on your site, and, if you are really not interested in the color chooser options of chromatophore, I might suggest switching to versatility 4 instead. It is much more flexible (can look similiar to chormatophore) and is a little easier to color change the way you want it.
