Custom Development: The RocketTheme template was virtually left intact, only the PHPBB3 template has a few tweaks to show off not only the normal site menu, but also the PHPBB3 menu under that. Also the forum has some tweaks for registration. basically to avoid registration.
Did some graphical tweaks here and there in the VirtueMart store to have a better fit within the used Cromatophore template.
Other Features: Not much other features to mention, except it took a long time to complete debug the site for especially IE on Windows, as the Chromatophore gave some unwanted script errors in IE due the the color chooser, which has been left out and basically the template has been stripped of most of its scripts. Before I forget, One other feature has been built in, that is the highslide feature. Used in the shop (only 1 picture now), for the FAQs and as well as in the forum for the attached pictures members are able to post. I have played around with RokBox, but I find the possibilities of resizing too meager and having a set RokBox size doesn't do it. HighSlide has the ability to use the visitors viewport to always fit a picture, even if it would break out.
Any specific areas of my site that I'd like feedback on, if any: I would love to receive any feedback of all kinds. And before making this an advertisement, I would suggest everyone that is not 100% familiar with Joomla (yet) to have a look at this website and the deal I put on the site. Very interesting for the not so savvy Joomla user!
Additional Comments: Only one additional comment. I would not have been able to make this without the 3 years of membership on RocketTheme. I have learned so much through the RocketTheme forum and the so helpful members on here! Thanks RocketTheme!
Joomla logo usage on the site: The Joomla logo that is carried on the website has been officially approved for use on the joomtorial.com website by Elin Waring, President of Open Source Matters.
Thanks for the comment, the teaser videos I didn't want on the frontpage. They are however available at the product page itself. 5 little shortened teasers.
I have added a free "test-drive" video for those who would like to see a video first before deciding to purchase. The video might be interesting for many! It shows you how to backup and restore your Joomla website in a convenient way.
