Mission Control Bug - 2.5 Update

well i did take that into account. Basically by default the plugin only does its magic on install, both patching and sql fixing. So just does it just once. After the file is patched, any further installations will work fine, and no sql fixes will be required. If you needed to patch/fix sql again for some reason, you can toggle the option in the plugin params to force the 'repatch on every load' functionality.
Also, the patch process compares the md5 of the file that is included in 2.5.0 -> 2.5.2 that is buggy.
If you installed 2.5.3 on top of 2.5.2 (patched via dupltemplatefix), it would install fine, and even if they updated the problem file, the fix wouldn't run again anyway, so no problems there. Also if you tried to run the patch process on an updated file, it wouldn't run because of the md5 check.
If in 2.5.3+ they update this particular file and don't fix the bug with the installation (unlikely) then i will need to release an update of the plugin that has a patch for this version too, but you certainly won't be any worse off.

Just realized my patch file was the wrong one! I'm actually surprised it was working at all as it was the latest and greatest github commited version and it seems to reference things that aren't in the 2.5.0 framework yet.
This new version only has 2 minor (but critical) changes from the default 2.5.2 version.

This is a patch and not a full install of Mission Control, right?
Also on a pre-existing 2.2 version when I then tried to upgrade after the patch I got this error message:
Unknown Archive type
Update path does not exist
JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find Joomla XML setup file
Unable to detect manifest file

Try uninstalling the patch then uninstalling MC 2.2.
Then re-install MC 2.4 and then install the patch.

After removing the old copies of Mission Control, Re-installing what I thought was the latest version and running the patch. I am still getting an upgrade message but when I try to update it says:
-1 - An error has occurred.
Copy failed
I tried to purge the updates but it still thinks that I should install 2.4. There is no update message in the template preferences so I think I am already in 2.4.
