What web hosting company would you recommend?

I've gone though a few hosts (JustHost, 1and1, 123-reg, GoDaddy, Media Temple and a few others), My best experience so far is Rochen (who I believe host the Joomla.org site - please correct me someone if I'm wrong).
Their support is unbelievable and they are completely set up for handling Joomla installs, they are familiar with all the extensions and template providers I've used, which is an obvious plus. Since switching my Joomla sites to Rochen, I've never had any host based conflict issues and the speed is great.
They aren't the cheapest but I'll never go back to a bargain basement host again.

Yes agree 100%. Rochen everytime. Not the cheapest, but if your websites and email are business critical. - Choose Rochen.

I use host gator and currently manage a reseller account and a shared account. I really never have downtime and their live chat tech support by english speaking techs is awesome. Our reseller account is approaching dedicated server status so I am going to have to switch that when the time comes (i fear that more than anything right now).
Prices are good, speed is decent and up time is fantastic. You can check their forums and see when servers are coming offline for various reasons. That's the kind of communication in a data company I like to see. - what? I need a signature? no way!

I use Blue Host I've used them for the past 7-8 years and I've never had a single problem with them. They truly are fantastic!
If you pay for a year at one shot you get your domain name for free.
