    • Is there any concern with changing the requires files to 777? I had to do that to a few files and that seems a little risky. Am I to change the security on them back after I install the component?

      Yes. Always change them back

      I'm assuming they should be 755? I believe that's what they were prior to install.

      xyzulu....so far so good for me. I think my pages load 2x as fast now but I have a small site too. I honestly feel like it helped and would recommened it.

    • How exactly do you install APC. I've gone through the documentation but havent been able to figure it out as the directions arent too clear for a PHP amateur. I have query cache installed in Joomla but I believe I need to have APC installed on my server to run it correct? Can anyone help me with this?

    • Thanks for the reply unfortunately I tried that a few days ago and iPower sucks and gave me no help with this. So that didnt work out as planned. Any online tutorials?
