    • Erm, how do I get Quake setup on a windows box? I guess i need to buy Quake? If so, which version?

So many questions and so few answers from me! ;) :D

Too bad you guys don't play Americas Army (completely free)... but just as well, it's like digital crack, very addictive, lol.

      Cheers!

    • You need to get hold of a copy of Quake 3.

I keep meaning to dig out my old disc and join in actually...used to be pretty good at the old headshots ;D

    • Would this be the right file guys?
      www.pcworld.com/downloads/file_download/...nloads/download.html

I assume so... so I'll give it a go! Obviously after I have the install done, I have to download and place the files that Andy mentioned.

I better practice in single player mode first! (if there is one :-[ )

    • You need to follow Andy's instructions in his first post to get what you need.

The critical file is the resource archive (pak0.pk3) which you will need to get from the original game disc.
