    • Apple mouse - bluetooth version too - has a fantastic central little sfere that act as a 360 degrees scrolling wheel, and is capable of right clicking, despite it's build by a monolythic polycarbonate shell ! Maybe to consider such a travel-mate could be acceptable?

P.S. how much snow in Wien today?

      P.P.S.
right click with fingers 4 or 5, but I have to admit: not so comfortable, that's why I hate touchpads...

    • I use only the trackpad, which I love actually, on of the few.

I use finger1 (thumb) to click the button bar below the trackpad itself (left click only).

I also use finger2 (index) as left click for single tap and double tap on the trackpad itself (left click only).

I switched between the 2 continuously, just depends how I am feeling at that split second :D

As for right click, I use the 2 finger (finger2 and finger3) single tap on the trackpad. I also use the 2 fingers (2 & 3) for scrolling as well.

I don't have a Mouse as such so no issues.

    • And what to say about multitouch trackpad of the newest Steve's jewel called MacBook Air ?!?

Go to the Apple homepage and watch the MacWorld 2008 Keynotes from Steve Jobs.
      There's something in the air.

I wouldn't like to be the one that spams here an advertising link, but the temptation to add the Apple hotnews url herein is really great... ;)

(Sorry, guys, but I'm in love with all that since 1984...)

    • If they update (preferably a firmware) the Macbook (Pro) range with the multi-touch pad, that would be absolutely fantastic...free of course :D

    • The air is the same price as the MacBook Pro I just bought, but I think it has a slower processor. Anyway, I've got CS3 coming my way, and I'm really enjoying the Mac experience. I even edited and posted a YouTube Video with iMovie. Pretty awesome to just edit and click "share."

It's off topic, I know, but he video is at www.music-composition-studio.com and hey, give it a look if you like, I'd love your feedback on my song!

      Happily Mac-ing away!
