Sorry, Air has to much Air. I want a notebook that has a 24" super wide screen - I personally don't care how much it weighs. If it is portable and does what I want --- and has a wide screen - I'm there. Now - that would be something that gets my motor running. :P (Yes, I know this world is geared towards people under six feet tall.)

Yes, please gear towards touch screen plus pen and pad. The only thing that impressed me was the Wireless part - I hate being tied to anything. Hell, give me a little two handed turn crank and let me generate my own power. Hmmmm, maybe a little peddle contraption. :P ;D

They make one! it's called the 24" imac. I think it has a carry handle too!

Checked it out -- I used to carry around three of the older funky shaped ones for events...loved them. Two were used to allow customers to view their event photo session and the third was connected to my D1 Cannon and I would just feed the images from one to the other two. Events ran like clock work. Sometimes I would bring my Fuji 4000 (yes, that was a while ago) to print on the spot. (I hate Dye-sub and Inkjet printers for photographs)

I can see great potential in this one. I just have to carry a battery pack lol for those none outlet situations. Nah, I can almost always find a plug at the places I visit.

Hmmmm, big guy, big computer. Works for me.

    • Finally after a night of thinking, I'm not sad to have bought a Macbook.
I prefer to have it a little bigger but many more productive (more connectics, more power and possible upgrade of components).
The only thing which I would really like to have is the multitouch feature ...
But in fact if you think a little, who use the trackpad here ?
Me I cannot use it, I use always the mouse ;D

I wish they would come out with a tablet style book that would use the iPhone / iPod Touch multi-touch screen technology.....oh man...that would be sweet....

There actually is a Mac tablet that was very popular. Its not sponsered by Apple though.

Maybe the MacBook will have multi-touch soon? www.macnn.com/articles/08/02/13/macbook.multitouch/

I guess as it has been told that the trackpad is not the same in the macbook air.
So the multitouch is for the moment only for the macbook air ... but next versions of macbook and macbook pro will surely have too.
