Any Guru's Willing to do Phone Support?

Anyone out there willing to do a few phone sessions with me as I try and set up my site? Since I am fairly new to Joomla and RocketThemes and using version 1.5 I am having some difficulties and would like to just talk with someone about the issues and work through them rather then spending all my time in the forums weeding through posts trying to find answers to my questions...many times I am not even sure what I am suppose to be asking or looking for....
So far I have 1,5 installed, and a couple basic Replicant changes made but it's not right. Here is what I what to end up with:
Joomla version 1.5 site
Replicant Theme
Forum - don't care with one as long as it is integrated with Joomla security.
Blogs - If just using Joomla is easiest that is fine. If there is a reason to use another the I can go with that.
Community Builder - to create a community site.
Podcasts - I am not sure if I need an additional tool for this or not.
Photo Albums - Again, I am not sure if I need anything extra.
Events Calendar - don't care with one as long as it is integrated with Joomla security, if there is such a thing.
eCards

It's going to take more than a couple phone calls to do what you are planning...... Even someone experienced with Joomla would have their hands full with your list. Not saying it can't be done, it just isn't as easy as it may look/sound.
There's plenty of people here who could help you, I'm sure some will contact you. Good luck with it.

Yeah I know I have a long list...and every time I look at the extensions I want even more, ugh!
So how about I start with this.
Joomla 1.5 - done.
Replicant Theme Applied - done but with issues.
Blogs
Podcasts - Although I am already using a java solution & feedburner for this on the old site, so I could just incorporate that somehow.
The site I am replacing is http://www.green-church.org it has no blogs, no forum, no community. Basically it's an old static site built using Microsoft FrontPage. It works, but has no database and just needs to be scrapped for something better. - My first attempt at a Joomla site is www.ShareGrace.org

Do you have to go with 1.5? If not -- load the Full Joomla Version of Populus... Hint Hint then just change the template to replecant and adjust the modules....
You will knock most of your list...plus the additional available extensions for 1.0 is larger than 1.5, but again...just a suggestion.

Hey Wingman,
The reason I am wanting to go with 1.5 is because I want it to last a long time. I don't want to go through all this work only to have to then do an upgrade to the next version right away. I don't do this full time and have limited skills so to get it set up and then have to try and convert it seems way to much at the moment....
But what you are suggesting seems like such an easy deal I might just have to change and do that. Thanks for the great idea! - My first attempt at a Joomla site is www.ShareGrace.org

Good luck to you and by the way -- all my sites are 1.0 and will be for a long time...so, don't feel bad - you will be in the company of about a million plus sites in 1.0. (I think that is the correct figure, but who cares...there are a lot 
)

hahahaha, I am not on the islands, I only wish I was! I am in the frigid, frozen plains of Minnesota! Last week the wind chills were -50 here.....
Switching to versino one would also mean all the manuals would actually help me out. I am so confused by Joomla. I have sites using FrontPage and WordPress, Joomla just seems so much more complex I can't get my head around it. - My first attempt at a Joomla site is www.ShareGrace.org

As I tell my students -- "this is not hard - just unfamiliar". Plus, there is a large support group behind Joomla - making this a pretty cool community. Don't sweat the big stuff and just pay attention to the little things...they give you clues of how or what to do next.
Oh, and sucks for you but really I am in a no better off - probably worse - I am in Taos, NM (Hippieville - I use the term hippie loosely - cause I am not sure what they are here ??? :
) doing some projects.
Cannot wait to get back to Las Vegas (Sin City) then maybe, take a nice little vacation in my hometown and go Island Hopping. ;D Been away to long - getting mainland fever.

You are not going to build a great community with community builder. I have tried it and I went for a professional script instead because it's limits. However, rocketthemes and many other sucessful joomla sites use the community features of SMF forums.
