    • Well, yes, I used to use Virtual PC 6.1, but it's very slow and only emulates the PC. Not all software will work with it.

      Take out 3/4 of the available memory.
      Infect it with 5 viruses.
      Install a few malware files, trojans and rootkits.
      Set the screen colors to 256.
      Put the power cord on a timer to turn it off when you need it most (to simulate random hardware crashes)
      Install an airbag on your monitor, deploy it randomly (to simulate software crashes)
      Set you calendar to pop-up random messages 30 times a day (to simulate annoying error messages)

      Then, your high dollar high power mac will act just like a Windows laptop.

    • I still have a Powerbook G4 running OSX Tiger with Virtual PC and Windows XP Pro and yes it is very very slow. Reminds me of a 486.

      Get a new MacBook or MacBook Pro which allows you to run Bootcamp and/or Parallels, VM Ware. Will run Windows as fast as any other PC notebook if booted under Bootcamp.
