I can tell you why, easily as well.
You are seeing filezilla 3's new folder pane. Which doesn't display files at all. If you move your mouse over the separator bar between that and the queue section, you should be able to drag it up to make the regular file view visible.
Alternatively you can check which views you have enabled under the view menu.
