    • Is there any benefit in adding more meta tag fields to joomla besides the existing ones?
Like abstract, copyright, publisher, author or whatever?
    • Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

I think it's not important for SEO; and I think that the keywords are not importants too. However, you must have a good title, a good description and good content. Those points are essencials to have a good PR in Google.

    • I watched that 1 hour video that you linked to and I found it very helpful. Thanks! I recommend that anyone else interested in SEO invest the time in watching it as well.

    • Hi,

I have an SEO question when using OpenSEF. I have some content on my site that uses internal links. When I turn on OpenSEF they get redirected to the correct SEF link. My question is, "Will having Non-SEF links in my content that always get redirected affect page ranking or should I fix all of my internal page links to land on the corresponding SEF link?" Without OpenSEF all the links match up. Click on a link in body content: www.jikometrix.net/content/view/43/44/ and you land on www.jikometrix.net/content/view/43/44/ . Where as with OpenSEF you would land on something like www.jikometrix.net/service/web_dev/Web_Development.html . Do the Search engines take things like this into account? I'm just wondering if they take the link they land or the starting link?

If this is not the right place to post this let know.

      Thanks,
      Mike
