Tools used for design

    • Has anyone else here found that Firefox with Firebug needs to be restarted periodically? I'm running it on a Mac, and after a couple hours of dev work, moving back and forth between the public and admin areas of the site, it starts to crawl. Often by the time I get around to quitting and re-launcing it I have to force quit. Seems to get overwhelmed by the volume of JavaScript IMHO.

More to the point of the thread, if you are using Photoshop for developing web visuals, STOP. I used it for 10 years, started using Fireworks about 6 months ago (prompted by Andy's recommendations), and my development is twice as fast, and twice as attractive! Fireworks really is the app for us!

Yeah, I have noticed this, can be expectionally irritating. However, it normally "fixes" if I open in New Window then start from there.
