    • I may wrong, but I just have this funny feeling. It might be the lack of meds.

However, I've been looking around at other hosting companies an nobody comes near those kind of deals, Franke - unless iit's a guy who own a hard drive manufacturer
I ran into a scam a while back. It was a sotfware download company where you pay them and they make available all sorts of 'custom' scripts to you. They even had an e-mail address that had some girl who replyed back to any question that I had. I just about sent them $20 or so, but I ran across an article that mentioned them as a scam. I didn't send that Credit Card info.

    • I went again to the site. I looked around an clicked on some of the links. They took me to JoomlaHacks and other places with different names. They didn't seem to have any of their own places. Links to other sites that they may or may not have a relationshop with.

Ok, I did a basic search about the company:

      First the whois:
      Domain Name: MAMBOSERVE.COM
Registrar: ABACUS AMERICA, INC. DBA NAMES4EVER
      Whois Server: whois.names4ever.com
      Referral URL: www.names4ever.com
      Name Server: DNS1.SUPREMECENTER.COM
      Name Server: DNS2.SUPREMECENTER.COM
      Status: ok
      Updated Date: 29-jul-2006
      Creation Date: 17-nov-2004
      Expiration Date: 17-nov-2008

If you follow the link www.names4ever.com you will be redirected to hosting.aplus.net (You MUST look at the colossal plans :) )
You can see the complaints at www.dslreports.com/reviews/813 and at the Better Business Bureau www.sandiego.bbb.org/commonreport.html?compid=7000253

YIKES! There's a link to San Diego - HERE!

Franke, if the coustomer service is that bad, I'd suggest that you leave it alone.

    • Oh my God - run, run away from them.

I can't believe the number of complaints. Dave thanks for making me more wary before I jump in to a new hosting company. I think I will stay put.

Goes to show it pays to research and not go with the cheapest deal out there.
