Hi Richard,
I do use Google's tool already!it's very nice...specially if you use the Search-based Keyword Tool . .Thanks for the tip!Are you using SEO addon for FIREFOX?great tool.
Well, Google doen't use keywords in their search algorithms. That was dropped years ago, although not a lot of people know that. So, if your gearing towards Google, then your actual whole site needs to be fine tuned. Although I leave keywords in because they serve multiple functions.
So, pick out the best words that fit your site, then - start SEO'ing where it counts - the site set up and content.
Notice how RT Templates are moving toward SEOing built into the template? Well, that is cause it is what works and search engines look for well designed sites. Also, your content needs to be well written and placed properly, images, video and more need to be properly labeled with title and description. Plus, some more thingys.
For those that doubt on Google thing about them not using keywords - HAHAHAHAHAHA is all I got to say.

Q: Does Google ever use the "keywords" meta tag in its web search ranking?
A: In a word, no. Google does sell a Google Search Appliance, and that product has the ability to match meta tags, which could include the keywords meta tag. But that's an enterprise search appliance that is completely separate from our main web search. Our web search (the well-known search at Google.com that hundreds of millions of people use each day) disregards keyword metatags completely. They simply don't have any effect in our search ranking at present.

But keywords are not dead. They are just evolving. Google still uses keywords, but they stop listening to peoples input on what keywords to use due to abuse. Plus, I already predict that more advance keywords are in the work. (Inside joke )

Correct, they don't use meta keywords or meta descriptions to rank you in the SERP. They use the on page and off page key words and other factors to rank a page.
For example, we do sometimes use the "description" meta tag as the text for our search results snippets,
So, if you write a well formed page title and meta description (i.e. the Page Title Grabs the attention of the reader, and the meta description entices the user to click) then it's more effective if your page does show up in the SERPs.
Additionally, if the person is searching for a phrase, and your page comes up and that phrase (that the user searched for) is in your page title and meta description then they will be bolded, improving your CTR.
I try and think of the combination like a free adsense ad, and not stuff the meta desc and page title with keywords so they look spammy.
