I am considering moving from GoDaddy. It's not that I'm not happy with them, it's just that if you only eat Vanilla Ice cream you don't realize how many other flavors you might like as well.
I am looking into these two hosts. These are both closer to me and they both seem pretty speedy. I was mostly interested in their reseller programs because, now that my health is better, I am gonna start doing allot more stuff.
Would you look at these two hosts and give me any experiences or opinions that you might have?

Never heard of imhosted....
Rochen has a good reputation, although I've never used them.
I've been very happy with HostGator, CP is intuitive, very easy to use overall, support is top-notch.
Many of us (moderators) use HostGator, and we are located all over the globe, the speed of my sites has never been an issue, even browsing from Japan or the UK.

:shock: I just checked out Host Gator.... I really like their CP! One of the best I've ever seen!
Now I have another one to consider.

Yeah, when I made the switch, I really felt the CP was a dream come true.
And I can't say enough about support.
Live chat is fantastic, sometimes the queues are 10-15 minutes long, but so much faster than e-mail support.
And I have never had a support issue unsolved in a chat.
With other hosts, in live chats, I was often told the issue would be bumped up to the next level and I would receive an answer in 24 hours....
Seems like you wouldn't need too much support form your provider (
), but for those who do, it's something to consider.

Left Slodaddy and havent looked back.
I have and love Rochen. I prefer the WHM and Cpanel so it fits for me. Good stuff so far.

CP = Control Panel
The File Manager is navigated the same way you would navigate your file / folders on your computer. (Very easy to move files, Drag & Drop, easy to upload files, compress files, extract files. etc.)
phpMyAdmin, MySQL, Mail, FTP, etc. all easy to use.
I've never had a problem installing any RT template... php.ini memory is plenty (with other hosts it sometimes needs to be adjusted), CURL is enabled by default, etc... - Thanks,

- I'm very happy with Rochen. They are not the cheapest around, but their support is excellent, their plans and pricing are clear and easy to work out, and they have servers in both North America and the UK - I live in Australia, and I chose the North American location. Great service. Joomla use them for their sites, I understand.

- I like Rochen. Not the cheapest, and I think the amount of disk space they give you for the money needs improvement, but it's always up and performance is good. Great support.
