    • hi natalie,

good too see your problem is fixed.

the ItemId thingy is a new feature. You can turn it off in the Artio JoomSEF configuration page. (See"reappend source itemid" attached")

    • I got around to making the change today..just did the www change as a start, then renamed the file .htacess. Doesn't seem to have worked, when i type in domain.biz, it goes there. Shouldn't it force www.domain.biz into my address bar? Also, the REALLY BAD PART!LOL I cannot access the .htaccess file anymore:( I tried it through joomlaxplorer and it took my to an error page:

      ERROR(S):
.htaccess: You are not allowed to access this file.

      Go Back

Tried to see it with fireftp and it isn't even showing up in my list.
Going to see if i can see it from my hosts webshell..I HOPE!
      Any advice gollumx?:)

      Thanks,
      David Henderson

Edit: Well I could see it with the webshell, but could not edit it..so I tried changing the name back to htaccess.txt and that worked..WHEW!:) So guess I have to change it to txt to edit, then rename.

    • .htaccess is hidden. Configure fireftp to show hidden files:

      1. Run fireFTP
      2. Select Preferences (Alt+R)
      3. Select the "General" tab
      4. Select "Show Hidden Files"
      5. Click "OK"

    • Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

    • It sure looks like IIS according to the page response headers:

      Response Headers - www.cleanmywater.biz/

      Server: Microsoft-IIS/5.0
      Date: Tue, 27 Feb 2007 19:50:57 GMT
      X-Powered-By: ASP.NET, PHP/4.4.1
      Connection: close

      Cache-Control: no-store, no-cache, must-revalidate, post-check=0, pre-check=0
      Pragma: no-cache
      Content-Type: text/html

      200 OK

    • Ah yes, now I remember. My hosting offers both linux and windows hosting. I have the biggest account htey offer for unlimited everything on the linux, which consists of only 10 domains. They had a deal on the windows hosting that was the same thing, but had 40 domains available. So I grabbed one of those accounts also. That must be the problem:( So does anyone know how you can force a redirect from domain.com to www.domain.com on an IIS server? Similar to what you can do with the rewrite in the htaccess file on an apache server?

      Thanks,
      David Henderson
