Arrrrrr... the Miller's are taking over the world!

I for one Hail our new Miller Overlords! ;)

Does Andy drink Miller beer? :D

      Cheers!

PS: Yves is one of the most friendly and helpful folks that I have met online, Hail Yves!

The new movie '300' is from a Frank Miller graphic novel - a sophisticated way of saying a loooong comic book.

And yes, Yves is a very helpful and emotionally stable influence on RT. We need that!

Here's what I use, it's the ultimate in state of the art ergonomic design; and is not very expensive. Very few chairs have come close to the sheer comfort and design of this beauty.

Hey Kevin! Is that Tammy Fay Baker's old chair on the PTL show?

      d. :D

    • I get down with this bad boy.

      store.steelcase.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=46216179

It's got more bells and whisltes on it than you can imagine and its freaking amazing. the thing they dont show you is that its got so many doodads on it that the arm rests slide out and have instructions (i'll have to break out the cam and shwo you whqat i mean) so you can figure out how to make it do exactly what you want. The fun and exciting this is that its like a cloud but it can move in all directiosn to fit exactly how i want to sit at the moment which you dont think abotu cause a chair is usually just a chair, but this thing is fluid in design so it's liek a new chair whenever i want to move somethign around.

The bottom slides the back has lumbar the back tilts the angls change this thing is awesome.

If you get a chance try one.

    • I didn't want to review the chair right away but now that I've had it for a week and sat in it for a lot of hours I can give a good assessment of it.

First, it comes in a well-packaged container. Second, it is heavy. The reason it is heavy is due to the material it is made from - metal. You won't find any plastic on this baby - at least not in any important parts. To put it together requires the installation of only 6 screws and setting the casters in the based. It even comes with a T-handle hex-wrench to install the screws. It took longer to unpack it and toss the empty box than it did to put it together.

Adjustments. My goodness, it so adjustable. The headrest adjusts vertically and horizontally. The lumbar support adjusts vertically. The seat adjusts vertically and horizontally. The horizontal adjustment of the seat contributes to your lumbar support. Like all other chairs, you can recline or lock that function vertical. The difference here is the ratio of back lean vs. seat lean. It is not a 1 to 1 ratio making it more comfortable to recline.

Once I got this chair set to my liking, I can sit in it for hours with no discomfort. No discomfort means I don't wiggle around in it. The trick is to set your butt at the back of the seat pan thus placing your lower back in line with the lumbar support. The mesh not only allows air to circulate all around you but grips you well enough to keep you from slipping forward into a slouch. This chair keeps me sitting in good posture which has, in turn, made me use better posture in my cheapo chair at work without even thinking about it.

Two weeks ago it was very hard to justify spending so much money on a chair. Now, I won't hesitate recommending a chair like this to anyone who sits for long periods and experiences discomfort doing so. My fiance is envious and wants one for herself. I don't blame her. She'll be getting one soon.

There ya go. I"m sure the more expensive chairs are great and probably worth the money but if you can't spend $1000 on a chair then look at this one. And yes, there are different colors.
