Can we consider that current rockettheme j17 templates installations are ready to work with j25?
is it safe to upgrade production sites now?

- Apparently not yet. I just set up the Halcyon template using RocketLauncher, which included J1.73. When I upgraded to 2.5 the panels in the template manager all disappeared. Rolling back to 1.74 fixed it. I will wait for RT to announce compatibility before I roll any of my sites to 2.5.

I noticed the same thing as you John. If you click on one of the tabs and click on the browser's refresh button all of the options associated with that tab appear. If you click on a different tab you have to refresh again to get it's options to show up. If you click back to the previous tab you'll have to refresh as well.
I'm just playing around with J2.5 so it's no big deal at the moment. Ready to dig in though. :cheesy:

We have released an updated version of Gantry that addresses this opacity issue in Joomla 2.5. We've also released a few upgrades to our various extensions that address similar issues.
Even though Joomla 2.5 is intended to be an incremental release, there are significant additions and changes, and as such care should be taken when upgrading. I strongly suggest upgrading and testing a development server before doing so on your live server.
If you find any issues and/or problems please let us know and we'll work to get them addressed ASAP.

I am running Joomla 1.7.3 and upgraded to 2.5
I have RT Radiance and Gantry 3.2.11
As well, I have two others that run Reflex.
The sites seems to display properly and I didn't notice any issues of the top, but I rolled back to the morning's cPanel backup to give it a bit of time for any possible issues to be documented.
Never checked the admin panel to see if there was any issue there though, so I can't comment on that.
I think I'll wait till an official 2.5 RT update is released, if it isn't too long.
p.s. I'm also planning on installing JomSocial and Kunena, and there isn't 2.5 versions yet, so more reason to wait a bit.
IS there any issues going to 1.7.4 or smooth sailing?

No, I do NOT think it is safe to upgrade yet, OP.
YES the same thing is happening for us. Now everything appears, but it does NOT save anything. If you press "Save" the options stay set at what you set them to (but don't actually change on the live website) and when you Save and Close and then go back in they are set back to the default.
