Yootheme touting faster templates than RT....

I see it this way. Andy and RT long ago set the standard by which all must compare. I guess that Yootheme is just putting that out there. Clearly they are using RT as a model by which they have created their club. If you look at many of these other clubs over time - you will see them incorporate more of RT's club features over time because the model for RT is successful. Plus there is a huge community of dedicated members that would any other club would covet. So why wouldn't they try to emulate - and blatantly compete with RT. JMHO
That said - I find their Feb 08 template difficult. As a person with epilepsy - that top scroller or whatever it is called keeps moving - and not in good ways. Best for something to move and then stop. Otherwise it has the effect of some of those animated graphics. I really couldn't evaluate the template because of that.
Personally - I'll stick with RT. Great quality every month (and more thanks to Labs) and a community that answers my questions before I even ask.

forget Yooouey whatever - how about having a contest for the most creative request for a template that a template will be made off of the winning request? Which, brings two things to the table -
1 - How creative and sharing our the Rocketteers?
2 - Is Team Rocket up for the challenge?
Note: It could be a long term side project... ;D
I like this.... I am always looking around trying to find a template to modify.....what about a template that has a logo as module.... only graphic elements are in template.... so header in module as well....
.... I am always trying to find a template that breaks the mold....(information in a square{or rounded edges}box)
........ something which uses the realestate of the screen to perfection......
.....RT... I know you can do this...... - I am in shape.....

I love RT SIMPLEX and HIVE. Very fast loads, Super clean and easy to mod.
A few tweaks and your site is PERFECTO.
Ummmm, I will add that I had alot of help on my current site from the folks here. Best problem solvers and soopah doopah fast on the response time.
