I cant speak for everyone, but I do want to say we appreciated your diligence in this matter. We are concerned with the amount of information currently available for this fix. Can we:
1. Get a list of know templates that are affected. or
2. Get the exact strings that need fixing to make the changes in just those 2 files. or
3. Get the files for every effected template only...

We are currently working flat out on this...
There is a lot of work involved in this as we have many, many templates, both 1.0 and 1.5 versions, to create patches for. After that they have to be uploaded and setup on the server. We'll provide updates on patches, and details as soon as we have them. In the meantime, all except the few templates mentioned above, only need to update rt_styleswitcher.php and rt_styleloader.php. These are not files you would of modified, so you should be fine just copying over the appropriate files into your template.
btw, i'll update the first post with a full list of templates affected.

The workload we understand.. We have been members since the beginning so when you guys said it affects templates since 06, we were like "O BOY".. We love your work, and have modified countless templates for our customer base... Just want to make sure we get it right the first time.
What ever happened to weekends?

- Please see the first post, we have modified it with the list of templates that are affected and links to tutorials on modifying Versatility 1 and 2, as well as fire as these require some additional changes.

OK, I'm using Firenzie so I scoot over to members download and aim for the download package, but all I see is the firenzie template dated 31.08.2007
Has this template been updated?
If so, why does it not have a current date on it?
Please provide a direct link to the updated firenzie template.

The template packages in the downloader are the most up-to-date, it is just DOCman not updating the dates. Rest assured, the ones there are the newest
All the template version numbers have been updated with the changelog in templateDetails.xml - so, check in templateDetails.xml if you are wondering about what version you have.
