      Just wanted to let you know that I did complete the move again to production, this time with JoomlaPack and that did work correctly. All of the back end administrator graphics are now present and everything looks perfect.

      I cannot thank you enough for your patience and assistance. From now on I'll be migrating via JoomlaPack instead of manual FTP. The network engineer in me got the best of me on using FTP.

      This topic can be closed out. Thanks again for your great assistance.

    • are you on an Apache server? and you moved from one server to another?

      sometimes weird stuff happens with paths on Apache servers. but since you were able to chmod yourself, their seems to be no chown issues.
